Over the course of the last few years, I have taken Brad's class about seven times. He always changes up his lessons and I don't think he's replicated a lessonplan once. He's a truly wonderful teacher who not only shares his knowledge, tips and tricks, but encourages his students to apply the techniques he teaches to their own styles. In my opinion, it's more important to learn from a teacher who isn't interested in your replicating the demo bead, but from one who teaches you a design and watches and encourages you to take it to another level, your own level. His lessons can be challenging, sometimes frustrating and always benificial to those who are looking to expand their knowledge of lampworking, marble making and art theory.

He isn't one to disappear after a demo. Brad watches what his students are doing, even when you think he isn't and comes over to offer helpful tips that will help you succeed.

I highly recommend him as an asset to any studio's roster!

Brad's classes certainly taught me another way to look at glass and for that, I am grateful. Now I just have to contain myself until I get to take his next workshop in November!
